I remember the time when the rupee had hit a low in 1997-1999. I remember going on my first trip to Japan counting every Yen and rupee. At that time I was not sure of all the reasons, just knew how it was impacting me directly. Of course, on the return journey, with Yen and Dollars on me, the rupee being low was more advantageous.
Today's newspapers speak about the sliding rupee and the continued sliding rupee. There goes my decision to buy the 5 new management books from Amazon. Should I also postpone my holiday plans? Should i buy that new flat screen or the new smart phone/tablet - will the prices increase. The point is, how long can I hold on - how long can I hold on? Let us wait watch and act.
